Looking for Greenwood hockey memorablia

The Greenwood Museum will be mounting a special exhibit next year, Greenwood Hockey History.  A mannequin will be fully outfitted with the old Greenwood jersey and equipment and there will be a mural of hockey photos that date back to the early 1900s when the Phoenix hockey team ruled the Kootenay-Boundary area.  There will also be many photos from the late 40s and late 50s teams such as the one you in the photo. The museum is looking for former Dynamiters and/or Monarchs players who cherished and kept their uniforms. They are also looking for more photos from the early 50s and 60s.  If anyone has these memorabilia from those days that you’d like to donate or lend to the Greenwood Museum please contact mr_t8@shaw.ca.

With the NHL lock-out, maybe we can revive many Nikkei players of the past. I hope this request will help us find those vintage jerseys. The Greenwood Monarchs senior men’s team changed to Dynamiters in the mid-50s.

Thanks for your help!
