<description>FOR ANYONE INTERESTED IN THE SHIKOKU PILGRIMAGE

I have recently published the first translation of Musume Junreiki, Takamure Itsue&#039;s 105 newspaper articles about her pilgrimage to Shikoku made in 1918. The articles are fascinating and reveal much about Taisho era Japan and about Takamure herself. She became an overnight sensation throughout Japan because of these articles. The book is available from Amazon and the title is THE 1918 SHIKOKU PILGRIMAGE OF TAKAMURE ITSUE: AN ENGLISH TRANSLATION OF MUSUME JUNREIKI.
