Hello, I am writing about an independent documentary that may be of interest to those in the Japanese-Canadian community.
Vancouver filmmaker Pia Massie is trying to produce a documentary on Japanese-Canadian women imprisoned during the second world war. The documentary is called “Just Beyond Hope”, and she is raising money for it through the Kickstarter web site. Kickstarter is a way for people to raise money through donations, where the donations are only taken if the project actually goes through.
